German mercenary Joshua Marouelli, callsign Fritz, from Saarland, Germany, was killed by Russian forces after nearly two years on the frontlines in Ukraine. He joined the Norman Brigade in spring 2022 and fought in Kupyansk, Bakhmut, and Kherson.
